RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Award 2010
In 2010 we received a Gold award in the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards. This reflects work done to make further improvemends to health and safety management, including safer and green driver training for employees and staff health and safety training tailored to jobs.
Inside Housing - Housing Heroes 2010
Julie Howard, who runs our Repair with Care Service was shortlisted as a finalist in the 2010 Housing Heroes Awards. She was nominated by her colleagues for the Inspirational Colleague of the Year category within the awards. There were five other finalists for this award.
National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) Best Practice Award 2010
We won the National Housing Maintenance Forum's Award for the Most Innovative Direct Labour Organisation. This is the second year running that we have won one of these prestige national awards which recognise best practice in the maintenance of social housing.
